Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common questions

Visit the login page and click "Forgot password?" Enter your email address and we'll send you a password reset link. The link expires after 24 hours for security reasons. If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact support.
First, check your Sent folder to confirm the email was sent successfully. If it was, the issue is likely with the recipient's server or spam filter. Check our system status page for any known issues. Your @ukwebmail.com address has SPF and DKIM pre-configured for optimal deliverability. Contact support if you need help diagnosing deliverability issues.
For iPhone, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other, then enter your email and password. For Android, open your email app's settings and add a new account using IMAP. Use imap.ukwebmail.com for incoming and smtp.ukwebmail.com for outgoing. See our setup guides above for detailed step-by-step instructions.
Your mailbox has reached its storage limit. Log into webmail and delete old emails or empty your Trash and Spam folders (these still count toward your quota). You can also upgrade to a higher plan for more storage, or purchase additional storage as an add-on from your account settings.
Log into your account dashboard at my.ukwebmail.com and navigate to Email Settings > Aliases. Click "Add Alias" and enter the address you want to create. The alias will forward to your main mailbox. The number of aliases available depends on your plan.
Our spam filter learns from your actions. If you find a legitimate email in spam, mark it as "Not Spam" to train the filter. You can also add the sender to your contacts or create a whitelist rule in webmail under Settings > Filters. If a particular sender's emails consistently go to spam, they may have email configuration issues on their end.
Yes, you can access your email from anywhere in the world via webmail or your email client. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you may be prompted to verify your identity when logging in from a new location. Some countries block certain ports, so webmail is often the most reliable option when travelling.
Connect your UKWebMail account to a desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird using IMAP. Once synced, you can export to various formats (PST, MBOX, etc.) using the client's export function. Alternatively, contact support and we can provide a full mailbox export for you.
